Q. Is the Studio Open?
A. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, our studios are open in a limited capacity. Our Santa Monica studio is currently open only for member use. Our Downtown studio is open for member use, as well as some limited class offerings through our Pottery in the Park program. Check out our classes page for more information!
Q. Do You Have Classes?
A. We are currently offering online classes, which you can participate in from the comfort of your home! Additionally, we are offering a limited number of in-person classes through our Pottery in the Park program.
Q. So What is 'Pottery in the Park'?
A. Pottery in the Park is a beautiful outside studio that we have set up at the ROW, in downtown LA. We are very excited to be able to offer in-person classes in our open air studio!
Q. Can I Buy a Membership?
A. Yes! We offer memberships at both our Downtown and Santa Monica studios. If you are interested in becoming a member of our studio, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or submit your interest in the form below, and we will provide you with additional information.
Q. What is 'Handbuilding'?
A. Handbuilding describes the process of making pieces with clay without any machines (no wheel). During our handbuilding classes, you will learn several different techniques to create work by hand. Handbuilding allows the artist to create very unique and beautiful pieces.
Q. Can I Fire Something I Made on My Own (not as part of a SLC class or membership)?
